What do I do if I experience a problem with the Slacker Software Player?
A. First, exit and restart the program to see if that fixes the problem.
If the problem persists, then please provide us feedback on the problem. Select
Options > Help > Feedback to display the feedback form.

Player?
A. For general questions on how to do something with the Slacker Software

Will the Slacker Software Player only play Slacker Radio stations or will
it play music files as well?
A. Slacker Software Player lets you play and manage Slacker Radio stations
and music files that already exist on your PC computer. The Slacker
Software Player supports .mp3, wma, and m3u (playlist) files. Premium
Radio subscribers also can save Slacker Radio songs to their Slacker
Software Player Library, and play them whenever they want.

Can I create a playlist of my local music files and music from my favorite
Slacker Radio stations?
A. Premium Radio subscribers can save their favorite radio songs to their
library, and also mix them with mp3s into custom playlists.

How do I add music files that are local to my computer to the Slacker
Software Player?
A. Click "Options" > "Library" > "Add Files."
You will be prompted to browse to the files on your PC. In addition, you
may "Drag-and-Drop" the files from a folder on your PC to the Library
in the Slacker Software Player to add the files. Note: If you drag-and-drop
your local files into the Current Playlist, they will not be added to your
Library.

Will the Slacker Software Player support my Slacker Portable?
A. Yes. The Slacker Software Player supports the Slacker Portable., It allows
you to choose which Slacker Radio stations and which mp3s you want added
to your Portable.. If you are a Premium Radio subscriber, radio songs you
save while listening to the Slacker Software Player automatically will sync
to your Portable's Library.

Am I required to download and install the Slacker Software Player to
listen to Slacker Radio?
A. No. You can choose to use either the Slacker Web Player (at www.slacker.com) or the Slacker Software
Player to enjoy Slacker Radio. However, we recommend that you download the
Slacker Software Player to get the best radio experience. The Slacker
Software Player supports all the features of the Slacker Web, and also
includes flexible resizing, large cover art, visualizations, and better
quality over slow broadband connection. It also gives you the ability to
manage and listen to your local music files. If you are a Premium Radio
subscriber, you can also use the Slacker Software Player to manage and
listen to your saved Slacker Radio songs.

A. No. The Slacker Software Player and Web Radio Player are free to use.

Do I need an account to use Slacker Software Player?
A. Yes, we require that you create an account in order to use the Slacker
Software Player. When you sign in, you have access all of your Slacker Radio
stations. And if you have a premium subscription, you have access to all
of your saved Slacker Radio songs.

A. Music downloads are not yet supported; however, you may listen to your
personal music files that already exist on your PC computer such as .mp3,
.wma, and .m3u (playlist files).

- Q. Do I need a High Speed (broadband) Internet connection to use Slacker Software Player?
A. Yes. The Slacker Software Player is optimized for use with a high speed internet connection.
Users with Dial-Up connections will experience longer "Buffering" and loading times and intermittent playback problems.
Please note that the Slacker Software Player supports AAC Pro v2, which is a highly efficient music compression codec.
Most users with slow internet connections will get a much better listening experience with the Slacker Software Player
because of this feature.
